NZ90: 787 at the gate, Tokyo Narita

This was the ride home from an epic Japanese adventure. Economy was half empty, quiet. Managed to get a few Z’s during the overnight flight back to Auckland, NZ.

Arrived back at AKL for a two hour wait for the domestic connection: This is the bit that sucks. The waiting area for regional turboprops in Auckland is dire (unless you have Air New Zealand Koru Club access). It’s too small, packed with people, and very little to do or see. If you plan for a short International to Domestic connection, there’s a risk you’re missing the flight. Too long, and you’re in the turboprop lounge for an uncomfortable wait. First world problems.

If you’re seeing this on Mastodon/Fediverse, I’m just trying out some stuff. I don’t expect the next few posts to be interesting, apologies 😄
